Nowadays Information and Communication Technology (ICT), especially internet plays an important role in the education sector. Technology (internet) can be the most effective way to increase the student’s knowledge. Technology can change the way children think, what they learn, and how they interact with peers and adults.

ICT enables students to move to higher-order thinking. Thus students develop constructive thinking skills. As a result the students are learning in order to prepare themselves for the future, during this information age.  ICT can be used to enhance student understanding thus increasing the quality of Education.

21st century children choose to look for answers to their questions on the internet. Also, students who have done ICT courses have higher chances of being employed in the future as most of the jobs nowadays require a good knowledge of ICT.

In addition, ICT-compliant students are more motivated and as such they become more creative when they are faced with new learning environments. Also, they are prone to assimilate in a disciplined way working collaboratively with their peers and have the capacity to handle rapid change in any type of environment.

ICT is an important tool in the educational procedure. We do not think anymore of the spectacle of printing every time we read a book, the phenomenon of TV every time we watch a movie, or the miracle of the telephone every time we make a call. The ultimate success of ICTs for learning will be attained when we stop marveling about the ICTs and apply our minds and emotions to the wonders of learning.

 The choice is ours!

Hmm it looks like your site ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I
had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your
blog. I as well am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new
to the whole thing. Do you have any recommendations for first-time blog writers?
    I’d genuinely appreciate it.
